A Note from Jessica

Hey there, I'm Jessica. :)

Welcome to your journey down The Rabbit Hole... *cue dramatic echoes, stars twinkling audibly, I descend in a pink bubble followed by a floating trail of purple fog*

At least, that’s how I picture this reading experience unfolding. Metaphorically, of course. The reality of my life definitely doesn’t include bubbles or fog or reverberating voices, unless you count the subway ride in from Brooklyn (believe me, those get weird). But I mean this more in the sense of creative discovery. There’s a lot to behold!

I made this publication because I like exploring the process of making magical things. I like understanding the motivation behind a brand or a business, and being a part of their metamorphosis into something beautiful. It’s what I’ve spent my career developing, using tools like fashion, PR, blogs, and social media as vessels for transformation. So I created The Rabbit Hole because I wanted to spotlight more of those magical moments; a place for all things peculiar and extraordinary.

I want this reading experience to be led by your imagination. Let it be captivated and inspired. My special power? Concocting the content. I curate the proprietary mix of inspiration and fascination until it bubbles over and spills into the furthest corners of your mind. But the true magic of The Rabbit Hole is that it’s a very real place, featuring real people, doing really innovative work. Let this be the guide to your mind’s wandering. When I’m not venturing down The Rabbit Hole, I’m running The Shiny Squirrel, my PR agency. I’ve been fortunate to work with some incredible clients who have launched me into industries that I certainly did not anticipate entering when I started out a decade ago. But now, our global business allows me to be a part of projects that I am passionate about. From teaching webinars, building television campaigns, redesigning brands, and creating this very publication, I’m eager to share those passions with you.
